Cats and ceramics

I want to return to ceramics. Well, start again, is more like it.

I’ve made a few lopsided bowls, vases and plates in my on-and-off nonprofessional time on the wheel. But I never made it past the beginner stage.

I love playing with the clay.

There’s something very relaxing about it.

So, I headed over to Google and social media to find a ceramics studio that runs classes for adults.

There are many.

Strangely, most of the studio owners also have cats.

I am highly allergic to these four-pawed puff balls.

As such, when I call a new studio, my first question is whether they have a cat.

Now I’m wondering what is the connection between cats and ceramics.
