At the end of this month, I’ve been asked to give a talk on Israel's reputation in the realm of innovation. Is this country’s moniker as a startup nation boastful hot-air or factual reality?
This is the country out of which amazing innovations have changed –and are changing – the way we do things. The stories of Israeli entrepreneurship are remarkable!
But the startup culture doesn’t spread to all parts of this tiny land. If 77% of the startups are located at the center (Tel Aviv and the surrounding area), does the title of ‘startup nation’ really reflect a whole country?
Of course, there are many factors to take into consideration.
There is not just one story to tell. And I look forward to telling many.
Moreover, Israel is referred to as the 'startup nation.' But I have always preferred calling this country, an innovation nation.
There are startups. And many of them.
But there's even more innovation.
In every realm of our lives.
In tech, yes. In education, too. In food, of course. In security. In transportation. Truly, in every realm of our lives.
